Light Is Life! About 100 years ago we spent on average about 50% of our time outside and all our light sources provided healthy light from the sun, fire or incandescent lamps. Today's average time outside is only 7% and our light sources from displays and lighting systems emit no healthy light. That's 86% less time outside and under artificial light. We also use e-glass to block the healthy light from coming through windows to save on energy bills, possibly in exchange for our health.
